EXPERIENCE
Influenced by her training as an artist, her extensive travels, and finding the beauty in everyday things, Molly McKinney sees the world in full-spectrum color.
As the principal colorist at Adler’s Design Center in Providence, Rhode Island, she visited homes throughout New England, among the oldest in the United States. In this role she helped hundreds of homeowners choose paint color and conducted DIY workshops in decorative finishing.
Here she also worked with The Coatings Alliance, a cooperative of independent paint dealers, in development of C2, a vibrant, superior-quality paint line that uses a European 16-pigment coloring system [www.c2paint.com].
Molly launched her own business in 2005 and has achieved an "A" rating from Twin Cities members of Angie's List (and was recognized with their “Super Service Award” in 2014). In addition to working with homeowners and businesses, she looks to serve as a color resource for architects, builders and designers.
Molly has a B.A. in studio art and art history from the College of St. Benedict and a 2- year certification in decorative painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. She lives in Minneapolis’ Lake Hiawatha neighborhood with her husband and two young sons.
